Folk Art Bird Pincushion book_collection About 5” wide x 9”About 5 wide x 9 tall Inspired by an antique fabric eagle, I drew a pattern and made my own eagles. Each bird in this collection is a slightly different shape as I adjusted the paper pattern each time I cut out a new bird. All are made from antique quilts, ca. early 1900s. The front of the eagle is the front of the quilt, and the back is the backing from the quilt. Each eagle has an antique bone ring sewn on the back for hanging on a nail, or loop an
